KU TRIO Talent Search provides engaging STEM activities for middle school and high school students. Opportunities include hands-on science activities, exposure to careers in technology and engineering, and applying mathematics in everyday life. Introducing students to STEM opportunities enhances their interest in these subjects and encourages them to take courses in these areas at the high school level and beyond.

Examples of the various STEM activities:

• Field trips to STEM businesses
• Science City activities
• Visits to research and science labs on university campuses
• Explore science and technology museums
